The Amateur Classical Musicians Association (ACMA) is a nonprofit performing arts organization, dedicated to providing performance and networking opportunities for the non-professional (but dedicated) classical musician.

Moored in Brooklyn just under the Brooklyn Bridge, Bargemusic presents great chamber music up to five days a week, every week of the year.

The New York City Opera, called "the people's opera" by New York Mayor Fiorello La Guardia, was founded in 1943 to provide financially accessible opera to a wide audience.
